Family Workshops
Our Family Workshops are back!
We’ll be running Family Workshops every Friday from 10am – 12pm during local holiday times with a different project each week. Children aged 10 + are welcome to come on their own or parents can join in with the activity too. These workshops are suitable for all ages, kids age 9 and under require an adult helper to stay for the session. An adult helper is welcome to book a ticket to join in too!
We’ll be using a couple of traditional techniques every week to help bring your projects to life. Families who come for multiple workshops can expand their clay knowledge and use previous techniques to develop their projects into creative masterpieces!
Each session will be 2 hours and include all materials, tuition and use of tools, equipment, glazing and firing of one project.

Upcoming Workshops
17th February: Totem Poles – create a stacked pole with each section representing something different – from family members to your best friends or even just your favourite things. Bring along some drawings for inspiration of how to decorate your own totem pole.
14th April: Brilliant Bunting! – make a reusable set of bunting that’s fit for royalty, ready for the King’s Coronation – wonderful to decorate at any street party or celebration!
26th May: Splat! Slippery Soap Dish – get inspired by your favourite animal or character to make a splat dish – perfect for your kitchen or bathroom soap dish or a wonderful trinket holder.
2nd June: Bloomin’ Amazing Plant Pot – use coils to build yourself a plant pot, decorate with flowers and leaves or bugs (if you like)!
28th July: Make Your Own Superhero! – whether you want to make your favourite movie character or want to design your very own superhero, with a wham and a bam we’ll help bring your character to life!
4th August: Kooky Clocks – bring a template for your design inspired by an animal, hobby or a funky pattern. Update your room with a bright and fun clock to hang on your wall.
11th August: Sculpted Selfie – bring along a picture of yourself and make your very own selfie plaque. We’ll show you how to sculpt all of your facial features but these can be as realistic or abstract as you like!
18th August: Day at the Beach – with the summer holidays coming to an end, capture all of your favourite memories of the beach in your own hanging plaque. We’ll use real seashells and other beachy textures to create an awesome wall hanging.
25th August: Potter’s Wheel Experience – always wanted to have a go on the potter’s wheel? Well now you can! With help from one of our brilliant teachers, we guarantee that you’ll make your own bowl on the wheel which you can decorate and glaze too! *Children Only*
1st September: Awesome Autumn Wreath – using loads of natural textures including pinecones, leaves and seedheads, you can create a stunning autumnal wreath to hang in your home for the cosy season.
27th October: Wizarding World Workshop – inspired by all things Harry Potter, make your very own sorting hat, witch’s cauldron or magical creature! Get ready for the spooky season and come wearing your best Witch or Wizard costume.
