Choose one of the following Classic Experiences
Potter’s Wheel Experience
Throw your own bowl, make and decorate with clay shapes and glaze it too.
Are you up for a challenge and ready for a laugh? Our potter will demonstrate and show you how to throw your own bowl on a potters wheel. Add decorative shapes or handles and paint it with coloured glazes too!
Vintage Bunting Class
Design ‘Congratulations’ and/or ‘Mr & Mrs’ bunting plus an item of bunting to keep for each hen at the party.
Design a collaborative string of bunting for the bride and design your own pottery bunting, using shapes such as triangles, hearts, birds or cupcakes. We have a great selection of cutters, word stampers and stencils to use. Have fun experimenting with textures, shells or vintage lace then glaze your bunting so it’s ready for hanging after firing.
Design, create and glaze your own mug using slabs of clay and lots of textures.
The traditional technique of slabbing using lots of natural textures rolled into clay. Try some shells, leaves, cones, vintage lace and doilies and make swirly shapes to create a beautiful and personal handmade bowl. Or make mugs using coils wrapped round a flower pot. After making, glaze your mug using traditional glazes to bring out the fabulous textures you’ve used.
Choose from a selection of mugs, bowls and plates and create your own hand-painted design using brightly coloured under-glazes. After painting, we dip-glaze and fire your pottery ready for posting or collection. Other items are available at various prices.
We have loads of ideas and can create a pottery activity to compliment the theme of your wedding, please get in touch to discuss your ideas.
