TERMS & CONDITIONS

Studio Bookings:

When you book a class, workshop, one-off clay experience or pottery painting session whether for adults or children or both you are paying for the session on a specific day, date, time and length of time as specified at the time of booking or confirmed by email, text, phone or messenger correspondence subsequent to your initial booking.

Your booking is for a pre-determined date and time as specified at the time of booking which is confirmed upon receipt of payment. We cannot offer a refund for bookings cancelled within 7 days. Pottery experiences and activities include one fired project of approximately 350g wet clay weight unless otherwise specified. Additional charge applies to fire additional or larger pots. The person making the booking takes responsibility for any loss or damage caused by any member of their party or group or associated third parties.

Workshop Bookings

Registration is confirmed by email after payment has been received either through the workshop booking page or via email, messenger or text. If you are unable to attend after booking, a refund less 25% will be offered if you let us know more than 7 days in advance. Refunds cannot be offered within 7 days of the workshop but you can give your place to a friend. The included project is approximately 350g wet clay weight unless otherwise specified. Additional charge applies to fire additional or larger pots. The person making the booking takes responsibility for any loss or damage caused by any member of their party or group or associated third parties.

Party and Group Bookings

Your booking is for a pre-determined date and time as specified at the time of booking and confirmed upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit. The person making the booking or signing the booking form certifies that they are authorised to agree to the booking conditions on behalf of all other members of the party and agrees to take responsibility for any loss or damage caused by any member of their party or associated third parties.

Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the party or activity date. After this time, no refund will be given for cancellation or non-attendance of any participants.

Weekly Classes

Your booking is for a set number of weeks on pre-determined dates and times as specified at the time of booking which is confirmed upon receipt of payment. We cannot refund or provide credit for classes missed. Pottery not collected within 8 weeks of the class will be disposed of.

Cancellation by Tarka Pottery

If an experience is cancelled by Tarka Pottery either before or on the day of the experience, we will arrange to re-book the participant at a mutually agreed time. Tarka Pottery cannot be held liable for any costs including (but not limited to) travel expenses or pre-booked accommodation costs incurred by the participant in the event of a cancellation. Tarka Pottery’s total liability for any claim in connection with a Tarka Pottery experience shall be limited to the price paid for the experience.

The details listed above are the terms and conditions applied to bookings for Tarka Pottery activities whether on site or at an external venue unless other terms have been confirmed in writing by Tarka Pottery.
