Open Studio Membership

Open studio membership

Suitable for those with some experience with clay, you pay for a block of 20 hours in the studio to use within a 3-month period, so book in as and when is convenient for you.

Anyone over the age of 18 can join, although if you are a complete beginner, we recommend you book a 2.5 hour Experience or join a five-week course first.

It works very well for those who like to take holidays in term time but don’t want to miss out on their regular pottery fix!

For example, you can come for a couple of days one week, and then have a couple of weeks off. Choose to book in for a morning, afternoon or a full day as and when suits you.

There’s always a member of the team on hand to advise members on how to use the equipment, and on the best way to carry out a project. This isn’t structured teaching, as such, but if you want advice on a technique we’ll be happy to make suggestions. If you are a bit rusty, don’t worry, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll improve.

If you would like private tuition to learn a new process including throwing, then you can get discounted tuition tailored to you – just book in with a member of the team.

Our glazes are available with test tiles so you can see how they will look when fired and our team pack the kilns, so you don’t have to worry about that.
